listening to music has undergone a sea change far
and beyond what we might have imagined only a decade
ago. From long wave to medium wave to FM, radio has
constantly kept pace with these ever changing
habits. With the advent of digital radio, where from
here is the question asked by many? Will it be one
of the many competing platforms, DAB, DAB+, DRM, HD
or WIFI.
We at allgold.ie firmly believe the future of music
radio lies in that one item virtually every one of
us carries in our pockets. What used to be a simple
mobile phone has in a few short years become a
camera, video recorder, media player, pc. That is
why we have decided to embrace the future with
allgold.ie, a new brand for a new era.

To maximise your listening experience we have
carefully chosen all the music in our playlist. We
have taken the best tracks from the Top 100 singles
of each year from 1960 to 1989. Added to the mix are
some of those big radio songs which were never quite
the hits they deserved to be but are instantly
recognisable. You will find that more than 95% of
the music on allgold.ie is “up tempo” so if it’s
easy listening you’re after – sorry!!!!
